Role Summary
The Machine Operator safely operates and maintains production equipment while meeting quality and food safety standards. This role requires attention to detail, initiative, troubleshooting skills, and ownership of assigned equipment and work areas. Machine Operators also communicate effectively, support team members, and assist with training new employees.

Core Responsibilities
Equipment Operation: Safely operate and monitor production systems.
Operate, monitor, and adjust production equipment according to established procedures
Perform equipment setup, changeovers, and sanitation activities
Monitor equipment performance and address issues as needed
Quality & Food Safety: Ensure products meet company standards.
Verify products meet quality and food safety requirements
Perform and document required quality checks
Follow GMP, HACCP, sanitation, and food safety requirements
Report quality, food safety, or process concerns promptly
Area Ownership & Team Support: Maintain efficient operations.
Take ownership of assigned equipment and work areas
Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready environment
Support onboarding, training, and development of new team members
Communicate effectively with production, quality, maintenance, and leadership teams
Assist in production, sanitation, or operational activities as needed
Continuous Improvement: Support operational excellence.
Complete production and quality documentation accurately
Participate in training and skill development activities
Contribute ideas and support continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Machine operation experience (food or beverage preferred)
Ability to read and understand work instructions, safety procedures, and product specifications
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
Ability to follow SOPs and safety procedures
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Ability to perform repetitive tasks and movements
Ability to work in varying temperatures
